Welcome to the digital catalogue of the Housing Apart
Together exhibition. This catalogue provides a concise overview of the projects portrayed in the exhibition
through plans, photos,
models and videos.
Housing Apart Together showcases the diversity of completed and planned collective
housing projects in Flanders, from new buildings to repurposed existing buildings in both villages and
cities. All of these projects present novel ways of living together while respecting each other's privacy.
Residents appreciate spacious shared outdoor areas where they can sit, eat, play, and garden, together or
alone. Staircases and corridors are often designed as additional outdoor spaces. The shared indoor areas
vary from laundry rooms, multi-purpose rooms and bicycle parking to play areas, living rooms and kitchens,
depending on the project.
Members of the press who would like more information about the exhibition can send an e-mail to lieve@architectuurwijzer.be.
