In the centre of Hasselt, project developer Steps Real Estate plans to create an apartment building with 39 studios designed by UAU collectiv. This CityLoft project is geared towards young starters, singles and students. The studios will be available for sale and as short-term or long-term rentals. The project will include services designed to make life easier, such as furnishings, an on-call handyman and cleaner, and shared bicycles and scooters.
The 45 m2 studios consist of a living area, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. Residents can also use the communal spaces. The bright and inviting stairwell will form the central hub of the building and will include a laundry area and a lounge bar on the ground floor. The roof terrace will feature a fire pit, a grill and a vegetable garden. A fully equipped gym will also be developed. The building is scheduled for completion in 2021 but will still be unoccupied at this date.
